Could It Be Mold?
Exposure to Mold can trigger allergic reactions and asthma symptoms and may actually be the cause of many upper and lower respiratory problems. Airborne spores often produce eye, skin, nose, throat and lung irritations even for those without allergies. It’s been linked to the worsening of Asthma, Coughing, Wheezing Nasal Congestion, Sore Throat, Sneezing, Rhinitis and Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis a disease with reoccurring flu-like symptoms.
Dormant mold spores are everywhere! There are no indoor spaces without mold spores. Under the right conditions (dampness, heat and a food supply) those spores reproduce rapidly releasing microscopic spores that become airborne, polluting the very air you breathe. Those same conditions also promote the growth of other common indoor pollutants such as dust mites, bacteria and viruses creating additional health hazards.
